Kickstarter Shipping Update: Packing and Outbound Progress

Hi everyone,
As we head into the holiday stretch, we hope you’re all getting ready to spend some well-earned time with family and loved ones. We wanted to share a clear update on where things stand as Kickstarter fulfillment continues to move forward.
Following our last update, orders have progressed through processing and are now in the picking and packaging stage. We expect packing to be completed within the next couple of days. From there, shipments will move out on a rolling basis shortly after.
Once your order ships, delivery timing will vary by destination and current shipping lanes. For Asia, delivery typically takes around 7 to 10 days. For most other international destinations, delivery is typically around 3 to 4 weeks, though some orders may arrive sooner depending on routing, customs, and local carrier handoff. As tracking begins to populate, we will learn more and continue sharing updates as patterns become clearer.
For tracking, all tracking updates will be sent through BackerKit, which is the platform where you completed your survey. As soon as your label is created and your package moves out, you will see updates there automatically.

Shipping Update: Outbound Processing Is Underway

Hi everyone,
I wanted to personally share a quick update as we head into the final stretch.
Your SolidSafe orders have arrived at the fulfillment center and outbound processing is now underway.Fulfillment will begin tomorrow and continue throughout next week, with tracking numbers going out as orders ship.
Here’s where things stand:
Orders Shipping Now
All SolidSafe orders that do not include the 10K microSD model are entering fulfillment starting now. This includes standard colors as well as Blue units and Orange 10K units. Orders will ship on a rolling basis as the fulfillment team processes them.
Orders That Include the 10K microSD Model
Orders that include the 10K microSD model are on a separate fulfillment timeline. We will share a dedicated update as we get closer to shipment for those units.
Shipping Timeframes
Once your order ships, delivery timing will vary by region.
Asia typically arrives within 7 to 10 days.
Most other international regions typically arrive within 3 to 4 weeks, depending on customs and local carriers.
Payment and Survey Status
BackerKit has charged cards for backers who completed their surveys and had confirmed shipping rates. If your card was declined, please take a moment to check and update it in BackerKit so your order is not delayed.
Backers who still need to complete their surveys or resolve payment will ship shortly after once everything is finalized.
I also want to say this directly: thank you for your patience, and I’m genuinely sorry for the delay. Getting a product like this across the finish line is never as linear as it looks on paper, and we appreciate you sticking with us while we pushed to do it right.

Hi everyone,
Cards have now been charged. Thank you to everyone who completed their surveys and helped us move this step forward.
We will be locking addresses tomorrow. If you have any last minute changes to your shipping address, add-ons, or selections, please update your BackerKit survey now.
Once addresses are locked, we will not be able to make changes while orders are moving into the fulfillment queue.
We are entering the most exciting part of the campaign. Wave 1 is lining up to go out early next week, Wave 2 is right behind it, and the microSD models remain on schedule for January 15. Seeing everything finally come together has been an incredible moment for our team, and we cannot wait for you to get these in your hands.

Shipping Update: Your SolidSafe Order Is Almost On Its Way

Hi everyone,
We’re excited to share a major milestone. We are almost ready to ship. The first wave of SolidSafe units is packed, prepped, and lining up to begin going out as early as next week, with everything pointing in that direction.
Here is how fulfillment will roll out:
Wave 1: Targeting Early Next Week
If your order contains our standard black or silver SolidSafe 5K & 10K units (no special colors and no SSD variants), you are in this group. Fulfillment is lining up now and we expect these to begin shipping early next week barring any last-minute logistics issues.
Wave 2: Shipping in the Following Couple of Weeks
This group includes anyone who ordered Blue units or Orange 10K units. Production on these colors took longer than planned, but they are wrapping up now. These orders will ship as soon as they finish coming off the line in the next couple of weeks.
Wave 3: Shipping January 15
If your order includes a 10K microSD model, you already know the plan. We remain fully on schedule for January 15.

Payment Timing
BackerKit will charge cards 24 hours from now for all backers who have completed their surveys and have confirmed shipping rates. Backers whose shipping rates are still being finalized (the countries we mentioned in last weeks update) will not be charged until those details are complete.

BackerKit Lock on Thursday at 6pm PST

Quick update as we get SolidSafe ready for the next stage of fulfillment.
We extended the order lock deadline to Thursday at 6pm PST. At that time BackerKit will lock your order so it cannot be changed. Cards will be charged closer to shipping once everything is ready to go.
If you haven’t completed your survey yet, please take a moment to do it before the deadline so your order is confirmed and ready.
If you are in one of the following regions, rates are still being finalized and your orders will not lock yet: Armenia, Angola, Brunei, Colombia, Guernsey, Iceland, Cambodia, Liechtenstein, Moldova, Montenegro, Maldives, Paraguay, and Rwanda. We’ll update you as soon as those are confirmed.
