Hi everyone,
Thank you again to the 1,100+ backers who have already filled out your surveys. Production is already underway, and your responses are helping us lock in final quantities, packaging, and shipping plans.
We will officially lock all surveys on Monday, October 13 at 5PM PST.
Once surveys are locked:
*Add-ons and item selections will be finalized
*Shipping addresses will be locked for now so we can begin calculating shipping costs
*We will give everyone a final reminder before we ship, in case your address changes later
If you haven’t filled out your survey yet, please do it now. It only takes about a minute.

This link works even if you lost the original email or used Apple’s “Hide My Email” feature. Just enter the email you used for Kickstarter.
About Shipping and Charges
We are still working to secure the best possible shipping rates, especially for international backers. Nothing will be charged until those rates are finalized.
You will not be charged when you complete your survey.
You will not be charged when surveys lock.
Once rates are confirmed, we will send another update showing the full breakdown before any cards are charged. You will get a heads-up with time to review.

Hi Backers,
Thank you for supporting our project. We just finished a successful pilot run and production is underway.
Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s essential to respond to your survey as quickly as possible since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.
You do not need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the survey invite email, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences (colors), provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.
Due to the volatility of shipping prices globally right now, shipping fees for this project will be calculated at a later date once we have the best estimates for everyone. We plan to enter & charge backers for shipping shortly before fulfillment when we have better estimates of what it will cost to ship backers rewards. We will alert backers when shipping costs are finalized & before we charge your cards in your BackerKit survey. We will keep you informed all along the way!
If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://[project name].backerkit.com.
If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your crowdfunding account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address associated with your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact support at https://solidsafe-safer-solid-state-battery-for-iphone-wireless.backerkit.com
After surveys are sent, if you did not receive the email, and you Signed in with Apple ID, your email address might be a private relay email address. We can help locate your survey and update your email address, please message us or post a comment with your Backer ID or Pledge # found on your confirmation. You can learn more about your email hiding for your Apple ID here.

Hi SolidSafe Backers,
We closed the campaign at $202,310 with 1,822 backers! That’s a major milestone, and it only happened because of your support. Thank you for helping us get here.
What’s next:
Pledge Manager – We’re setting this up now, and you’ll receive your surveys within the next week or two. This is where you’ll confirm shipping details and finalize your selections, including colorways.
Production – We’ve wrapped a successful pilot run and are moving into full production. Shipping is scheduled to begin in Q4.
Updates – I’ll continue to share progress as we move through production and fulfillment so you always know where things stand.

I’d like to say thank you.
We just crossed $50K, over 5X our original goal. That’s over 450 of you who decided to back this early and believe in what we’re building. Whether its safety, the design, or just want something better than the usual battery packs, we see it and appreciated it.
This has been a grind. Long days, constant iteration, and more testing than we care to remember. So seeing this kind of support right out of the gate means a lot.
Tooling is near complete, materials are nearly ready, and we are moving fast to deliver on time. More updates soon.
