Hi everyone,
Shipping rates are now live in BackerKit. Thank you for your patience while we worked through this.
We’ll be locking addresses and charges on Thursday morning, so please take a moment to review your survey before then.
If you haven’t completed your survey yet, about 15 percent of backers are still outstanding. Please take a minute to fill it out so your order is confirmed and ready for fulfillment.
How to check your rate:
1. Open your BackerKit survey from the link you received.
2. Go to the Shipping step.
3. You’ll see the full amount based on your items and location.
4. If you need to update anything, you can do it before Thursday.
There will be no additional charges later. What you see in BackerKit is the final amount for your shipping your order.

Shipping Rates & MicroSD Update

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in the US.
To our international backers, thank you for being with us and for your patience as we push toward delivery.
Shipping and BackerKit
Shipping rates are in and updates are happening inside BackerKit now. You will likely see the full list complete on Monday once everything is processed.
All rates will display in SGD.
Duties will be prepaid for nearly all countries and regions.
Exceptions not prepaid: BH, ID, IN, KW, QA, SA, ZA
We are still securing rates for AD, LI, MC, SM, AM, AO, BN, KH, MV. These regions are very difficult to ship batteries into right now and require extra clearance and carrier approval. We are searching as hard as we can to find reliable options and will update as soon as we have confirmed routes.
Production Timing
We are still preparing to ship during the first week of December. If anything changes, you will hear from us right away.
MicroSD Update
MicroSD models are expected to ship mid to late January. If that is too long of a wait, you may switch to the standard 10K. We will make the swap and refund the difference. Just reach out in the messages or to [email protected] and we will take care of it.

Timing Updates- Nov 16th

Backers.
Hope you are all having a good weekend.
Production is moving, units are coming together, and we are pushing everything forward so there are no surprises as we hit the final stretch.
We now have confirmed shipping rates for the US and Europe. We are locking down the rest of the world right now. Some regions, like Australia, required us to get creative with different partners to keep rates reasonable. That extra work is why this step has taken longer than expected, and we understand it needs to be wrapped up immediately. We are close to the finish line.
Once the units leave the factory in early December, we will air freight them to our 3PLs in the US and Europe. We are finalizing the plan for the rest of the world so every backer is covered.
More updates coming as we close out the final details.
Shipping Update and Next Steps

We really appreciate everyone hanging in there with us as we move toward shipping. Your support keeps this project going, and we’re getting close.
We’ve locked in shipping rates for the U.S. and Europe, and expect Asia to be confirmed next week. Once all rates are finalized, we’ll share them together so everything is clear.
Production for the SolidSafe 5K and 10K is on track to start shipping from the factory in early December. The 10K-SD (microSD) version ran into a few development issues, and we’re waiting on an updated schedule from the factory before confirming timing.
Thanks again for your patience while we work through the final steps. We’re making sure everything ships safely and lives up to the quality you backed us for.
SolidSafe Update

Hi everyone,
Thanks again for backing SolidSafe. 77% of you have already completed your BackerKit surveys, which has helped us prioritize production. If you haven’t filled yours out yet, it would be very helpful if you filled out by this Friday.
Here’s where we are now.
· The 5K units are in full production. Assembly is underway and packaging is complete.
· The 10K units are next. Packaging is already finished and production is ramping up now.
· The 10K with microSD has undergone a bit of a delay. We’re still finalizing a few component updates to make sure this version hits the performance standards we want. Right now we’re targeting mid November and will update you again once timing is confirmed.

Shipping
We’re in the final stages of confirming shipping rates. We expect to have everything ready to share within the next week or so. When that’s done, we’ll send out another update before surveys are locked or credit cards are charged.
Orders will ship from regional fulfillment centers:
· If you’re in Europe, your order will ship from our warehouse in the Netherlands
· If you’re in the US, it will ship from our 3PL in the States
· If you’re in Asia or elsewhere, your order will ship from Shenzhen
Surveys
If you haven’t completed your survey yet, please do so by Friday. It takes less than a minute. We need it to confirm your address and lock in your order. If you’re waiting to see shipping rates before submitting, that’s totally fine. Just keep an eye out for our next update before surveys close.
